GDHM Welcomes Eddie Shore

GDHM is pleased to welcome Eddie Shore to the firm’s litigation section.

Eddie primarily represents clients in real estate and construction-related disputes. His educational background includes a Ph.D. in History from the University of Texas at Austin, where he gained valuable research and presentation experience as a lecturer and postdoctoral fellow. He draws on his background as a teacher to help contextualize legal concepts when advising clients. Eddie also enjoys using his Portuguese and Spanish language skills to represent clients and perform pro bono immigration work in his community.

In law school, Eddie was as a member and Associate Editor of the Texas Law Review, volumes 100-101. His note, A Dream Deferred: The Emergence and Fitful Enforcement of the Quilombo Law in Brazil, was published in the February 2023 issue. Most recently, Eddie served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Diana Saldaña of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas.

Outside of work, Eddie enjoys spending time with his wife Cristina and their two children Analisa and Nicolás. He also loves traveling throughout Latin America, reading, history, cooking, samba, and all things Brazil. He is a devoted—if not long suffering—fan of the Arizona Diamondbacks and Phoenix Suns.
