Bob Hearon has practiced law with Graves, Dougherty, Hearon & Moody, PC for over 50 years and has served as managing partner.  His experience includes representation of families, individuals, small and large corporations, service on corporate boards, and briefing and arguing many cases in the Texas Supreme Court, Texas Courts of Appeal and District Courts, the Fifth Circuit, Federal District Courts and the Court of Military Appeals. In recent years, Bob has briefed and argued numerous appeals by major telephone and electric utilities involving decisions of the Texas Public Utility Commission.  He is available to consult, advise and participate in major trial and appellate litigation and related matters.

Graduate of the University of Texas at Austin (B.A. in Plan II 1952), University of Texas Law School (LL.B. with Honors 1954); Editor-in-Chief, Texas Law Review, Phi Beta Kappa, Chancellors, Order of the Coif.

Military Service:
Army Judge Advocate General Corps; attended infantry school and JAGC school, and served in Defense Appellate Division representing soldiers in court martial appeals before Army Boards of Review and U.S. Court of Military Appeals.  Honorable discharge as Captain.
