Andrea Moore Stover
ShareholderAndrea Moore Stover’s practice focuses on litigation before both the courts and administrative agencies.
In administrative law, Ms. Stover’s primary practice is utility law with emphasis on representing utilities and other regulated entities before the State Office of Administrative Hearings and regulatory commissions. Prior to joining GDHM, Ms. Stover was an associate with Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, LLP in Washington D.C., where she represented a variety of electric and gas utilities in administrative proceedings at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
In addition, Ms. Stover has represented a variety of clients in state and federal court in business litigation, including those involving contracts, fraud, fiduciary duties and business torts. With an emphasis on construction litigation, Ms. Stover has represented commercial developers, land and building owners, tenants and general contractors. In particular, Ms. Stover has represented clients in defending statutory lien claims and contractual disputes.

REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE
- Represent electric utilities, telephone utilities and insurance companies in a variety of matters, including contested rate case proceedings, CCN applications, complaint dockets, administrative appeals and other litigation.
- Represent land owner and developer in resolving approximately $2 million in mechanic’s lien claims.
- Represent wind energy developers, and construction contractor for wind energy projects, in various disputes.
- Represented a national media corporation in a multi- million dollar lease dispute.
- Represented a large commercial bank as the owner in land sale dispute.
