The Texas Supreme Court has granted a petition for review and set oral argument in a case handled by GDHM attorney William Christian. The issue the Court will be deciding is whether the Texas Public Information Act requires the Texas Department of Public Safety to produce the travel expense vouchers submitted by the security detail assigned to Governor Rick Perry. William Christian will be arguing on behalf of the Austin American-Statesman, the Houston Chronicle, and the San Antonio Express-News. The case is set for argument on September 15, 2010, at 9:00 a.m.
William Christian is certified in civil appellate law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and a member of GDHM’s appellate group. GDHM’s appellate practice handles a broad range of appeals in Texas and federal courts.
